Gearing Up for Dodgeball
Submitted by mitch41 on Tue, 05/17/2005 - 23:57. Product ReviewSerious dodgeballers have serious equipment. Whether you're just out to have a good time with the fellas, or your a seasoned veteran, we all have our specific gear. Of course you have to have the kicks, shorts, and jersey, but what about the little things? Here they are, the top 5 must haves for your dodgeball get-up.
5.)Arm sweat bands-subtle but flashy at the same time. They don't bother you and its always nice to have something dry to wipe sweat on in the heat of battle. Cost: Less than or at $5.
4.)High socks-the classic high socks. Whether solid or striped, high socks are a staple of dodgeball fashion. Try wearing two pairs of high socks (two different colors) to give a dual tone to match your team colors better. The higher the better Cost:$3-$7 (depending on brand).
3.)The finger sleeve-I found some finger sleeves at Academy Sports, and I imagine they are found at most other sports stores. The purpose is to add more grip on your middle finger (or which ever finger you wear it on). Not only does it look cool, it is great for catching and releasing the ball. Cost:Less than $5.
